Common Application
Over three hundred colleges and universities now accept the Common Application, a single form that you can fill out and submit to multiple schools.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
All students applying to college must complete this form in order to be eligible for federal financial aid.  Colleges also use this form when creating financial aid packages comprised of a variety of types of aid.

National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC)
A professional organization for counselors, NACAC offers a College Preparation section for students as well as a search tool for educational consultants on its website.
